WASHINGTON—Refugee Congress released the following statement on the Supreme Court’s consideration of the Trump Administration’s efforts to terminate DACA, the federal program that allows undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children to live and work in the U.S.
“Refugee Congress stands firmly with the more than 800,000 DACA recipients who arrived in the U.S. as children and have spent a majority of their lives here.
These young people are an important part of the cultural and economic fabric of the U.S. We hope the Supreme Court will uphold and protect this program.”
