10 Things You Can Do on the New Refugee Congress Website

You’ve probably noticed the new look and feel of the Refugee Congress website, but our website also includes new features! Here are some of the things you can do on the new and improved Refugee Congress website.

1. Learn about Refugee Congress Delegates and Honorary Delegates

Refugee Congress is a national nonpartisan advocacy organization built and led by refugees, asylum-seekers and other vulnerable migrants. We have members in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Our core members are called Delegates, and former Delegates are called Honorary Delegates. Our new website includes biographies and photos of Delegates and Honorary Delegates so you can learn about their professional and personal backgrounds and what motivates them to advocate on these important issues.

2. Check Out Upcoming Events

Want to get involved in an advocacy event? Looking for something to do this weekend? Check out our new calendar for a list of upcoming events around the country.

3. Share Your Upcoming Event

Our new Events Calendar isn’t just for Refugee Congress events.

We hope to make this a go-to place for all events related to advocacy, education and training on issues important to refugees, asylum-seekers or other migrants. Whether you’re a Refugee Congress Member or an advocate who works or volunteers with other organizations in this field, we encourage you to submit upcoming events to be included on the calendar!

4. Read Blog Posts

For the first time, our website now includes a blog. We will use the Refugee Congress Blog to share information and regular updates. Most importantly, this is a place to hear directly from Refugee Congress Delegates and Honorary Delegates on issues that are important to them. Check by regularly so you never miss a post!

5. Check Out News Stories
