Valerie Bahige is a Refugee Congress Honorary Delegate from Wyoming. He is a resettled refugee from the Democratic Republic of the Congo who came to the U.S. in 2015.

Valerie is a special education teacher at Stocktrail Elementary School in Gillette, Wyoming. He enjoys working with students with disabilities and helping those in need and who cannot speak for themselves.

Valerie has a master’s degree in special education from Black Hill State University. He is married and expecting his firstborn soon.
