Tara Faik is a Digital Communications Specialist for Refugee Congress, managing our social media and supporting general communications needs. She also supports social media coordination at the Refugee Advocacy Lab.

Before joining Refugee Congress, she held varied positions in the non-profit, education, and public health sectors. She received her Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Temple University, and is currently working towards her Masters in Digital Communications and Social Media.

Tara immigrated to Philadelphia, PA from Baghdad, Iraq with her family as a child. She loves cats, desserts, and traveling.
