Joint Letter Sent to Biden Administration Urging for the Protection of Asylum Seekers

On February 23, Refugee Congress joined more than 150 international, national, state, local, and faith-based organizations in signing a letter to President Biden expressing deep concern over potential changes to immigration policies and urging the Administration to protect people seeking safety at the US Southern Border.

The proposed changes would severely harm asylum seekers’ ability to seek safety and be in direct conflict with promises made to protect asylum access. You can read the letter here.
