Kendra Frith
Kendra Frith is a Senior Engagement Officer with Rainbow Railroad, where she leads community-centered programming in support of queer and trans refugees and asylum seekers. She also serves as Co-Chair of the United States Refugee Advisory Board (USRAB), helping to elevate lived-experience leadership and ensure that refugee and asylum-seeker voices directly inform policy, programs, and advocacy.
An asylum seeker herself from Jamaica, Kendra brings both lived experience and professional expertise to her work, grounding her advocacy in compassion, cultural humility, and accountability. She has extensive experience across refugee resettlement, humanitarian sponsorship pathways (including Welcome Corps), and community engagement, with a strong focus on safety, sustainability, and empowerment for LGBTQ+ displaced people.
Kendra’s work centers on building trust, amplifying marginalized voices, and creating systems that allow people not just to survive, but to thrive. She is also a mother, partner, and community organizer who believes deeply in collective care, mutual aid, and showing up with integrity. Whether supporting asylum cases, facilitating community programs, or advocating for systemic change, Kendra leads with courage, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to justice.
