Pastor Gobar Biswa, born in 1981 in the southern region of Bhutan, embodies a life story filled with resilience, compassion, and unwavering faith. He is a devoted family man, married to the love of his life, Priscilla Biswa, and they are blessed with three cherished children.

Gobar's journey is marked by remarkable transformation and unwavering commitment to service. Having once been a refugee himself, Gobar spent a significant part of his life in Nepal where he and countless others sought refuge from the challenges that life had presented.

For 16 years, Nepal became his home, a place where he navigated the complexities of life as a refugee and, in the process, honed his deep empathy and commitment to helping those in similar circumstances.

Since resettling in Kansas, Gobar continued his remarkable journey of service and compassion. He is a guiding light at the Bridge Fellowship Church, where he serves as a dedicated pastor. His sermons resonate with the wisdom and strength he has gained from his own life experiences, and he inspires his congregation to find hope and purpose in their faith.

Beyond his pastoral responsibilities, Gobar also wears the hat of a CEO at the Kansas Community Home Health Care. In this role, he demonstrates his entrepreneurial spirit, driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. His leadership ensures that the organization delivers essential services to the community, reflecting his deep commitment to improving the lives of others.

Gobar's life and work are a testament to the power of faith, hope, and determination. He has dedicated his life to serving among refugees and immigrants, extending a compassionate hand to those in need. While he faithfully serves God, he is also passionately devoted to entrepreneurship, demonstrating his unwavering belief in the power of community, service, and the pursuit of a better future for all.
