Ola Kukoyi
Ola Kukoyi is a dedicated Public Health Professional and Community Leader based in Aurora, Colorado.
With multiple degrees in Sociology and Public Health, including an MPH from the Colorado School of Public Health-University of Colorado, specializing in Community and Behavioral Health, Ola is currently pursuing her Doctoral studies in the same field. She possesses over nine years of experience in spearheading HIV/AIDS prevention programs and has been recognized for her contributions, including presenting at the XII International AIDS Conference in Geneva, Switzerland.
Passionate about health equity, women's health, and immigrants’ health, Ola has served extensively in both governmental and non-profit sectors. She actively volunteers with various organizations, holding key positions such as Associate DirectorAdvocacy at the United Nations Association-USA (UNA-USA) and Commissioner at Denver’s Immigrant and Refugee Commission (DIRC). Ola is deeply engaged in community initiatives and advocacy, serving as the Chair of the Advisory Board of Denver’s Human Rights and Community Partnership (HRCP)
A dynamic public speaker, Ola has delivered impactful presentations on diverse topics, including “Assessment of the Built Environment & Active Transportation in a Community with increased Health Disparities” and “Racism and its impact on Behavioral Health.” She remains committed to addressing pressing issues, as evidenced by her presentation on the “COVID19 pandemic and its impact on the Immigrant population in the US” at an event organized by the National Council of Women Societies (NCWS-USA).
Ola's leadership is characterized by innovation and collaboration. She has a proven track record of initiating and managing sustainable efforts while fostering teamwork and effective communication. Ola's vision and dedication continue to drive positive change within her community and beyond.
